Baldanzi & Novelli Designers

Design and Italy go hand in hand. The Tuscan-born and -based designers, Adriano Baldanzi and Alessandro Novelli, are acutely aware of this. After gaining their degrees in Industrial Design at the ISIA university in Florence, their design adventure began and led them to being considered among the best Italian designers in the seating and office furniture industry, and beyond. Thirty years of experience have, in fact, allowed them to build up an extensive culture of design, an in-depth knowledge of the technology available and the real demands of the various markets, to the point of being considered partners rather than designers by the companies that choose their services.

This approach has defined them from the start; their career took off after setting up and developing the Casamania company in the early 1980s, which was later sold to Frezza, a prestigious Italian brand, before going on to devote themselves entirely to their true vocation: design.

Their career has developed along symbolic geographic stages, on a small, yet challenging scale in Italy first, then in Europe. They are now in demand all over the world. The area where they live is a source of constant inspiration enhanced by their international experience.

They designed the Hellò chair for Las, a genuine model of success, a statement piece that is comfortable and ergonomic.
